Welp, I am kind of figuring stuff out over here. I thought a good midlife crisis avenue would be to start a blog rather than to buy a sports car. And I clearly don't know what I'm doing. I had started a wordpress account, and I had a funky wordpress url. So I figured I would buy a legit url for 12 bucks on google and link it. Simple right? Well it's not complicated, but it wanted me to upgrade my account, which was money I didn't really feel like spending for an experiment that I may or may not find fulfillment from. Anyway, so here I am on Blogger, and so far, the water's fine! About me, I'm a husband, a dad, an IT professional, a relatively new homeowner, and not a traditionally handy man. However, hopefully I change that (the being handy part, I don't want the other stuff to change!) over the course of the next year and beyond. Anyway, I am ready to make lots of mistakes (both in blogging and life), and to talk all about it. I've tried to accept the mantra "I don't lose, I either win or I learn." Easier said than done of course, but it's always good to have a mantra, right? Looking forward to this journey!
